Seven bedroom family home on gulf to bay lot

Seven bedroom family home on gulf to bay lot

10/10 Excellent
"thanks to the host for renting the Bunker out. Very custom built house with 2 master beds bunkbed kid room on 2nd floor and 3 master bed bunkbeds kid room on 3rd floor. Each floor has kitchen and living room. Dinning room on 2nd floor which we spent good meal time there. It is directly located on the beach that is very enjoyable and across the small road you can get to the Bayside. We did paddle boat at Bayside and fished near marina area and caught founders and croakers, not to mention the annoying catfish. We had a trip to Baldpoint Park, Wakula springs, SGI. HIGHLY recommended the springs, make sure to jump into the spring head, fun!"

"I just want to express my deepest gratitude for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, it brought such a sense of peace, calm, and relaxation — exactly what our family needed.Being able to paddleboard alongside the dolphins was absolutely incredible. It felt like we were in our own little world, surrounded by so much beauty and tranquility. The breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, and the precious quality time we shared together are memories we will cherish forever.Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for opening your home to us and creating such a special place where we could reconnect, unwind, and enjoy every moment. Your Private Slice of the Forgotten Coast—Steps to Sand

Your Private Slice of the Forgotten Coast—Steps to Sand

10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay here so much and we were very sad to go! The place was AMAZING! It is family friendly and pet friendly. The beach and ocean are right where you can see them and easy to access. Utilize the outdoor shower to helo with sand tracking in and out. The laundry room is located down stairs next to the outdoor shower. Bring extra big spray!!! The flies bite pretty good right before a rain. We aren't a super wealthy family so our main chunk of money went to the house so we cooked everything at the house. The trash service runs once a week so it was a tight squeeze for 6 people for a whole week but we made it work! There are beautiful views and breathtaking sunrises and you can sit on the deck or in the living room and see it because of the massive windows in the living room! When the tide goes out at night you can go explore and find all kinds of creatures in thw shallows. Wear sunscreen! And we made sure to have hats on and that helped alot! Overall we highly recommend this place and it is private as well. It was well worth the money and it was a wonderful experience!"

"Ohana shack is a luxury vacation home that you don’t want to miss out on! We have already scheduled a return next year. Our whole family had a wonderful time in the house and at the secluded beach. We may have seen 4 people on the beach the whole week. The guys enjoyed fishing off the beach, and crabbing. We felt very safe in the secluded beach area, that was literally a few steps from the house, for our little 2, almost 3, year old granddaughters splashing in the surf. All of the rooms were well done. The beds were so comfortable. The pictures can’t do any of it justice. The room with the king sized bed and 4 built in bunks were perfect for our son’s family. The girls slept on the bottom bunks. Their brother and cousin on the top bunks. My husband and I had the master bedroom across the hall. Our daughter and her husband and their daughter and best friend had the two suites on the lower floor. The kitchen was well equipped. We even invested in it by adding a waffle iron and a few other things. The appliances were top notch! The living area had very comfortable seating. We even looked up the two chairs to see if we could get some. There is a fridge/freezer in the very lower level to hold extra stuff you may need during your stay, to keep you from having to run into town for supplies. You may as well buy extra ice, because you will need it. There are also beach chairs. We even added a couple more to the collection. The hot tub is enormous. The elevator is awesome!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Alligator Point?
The best area to stay in Alligator Point is along the main stretch of Alligator Drive, which runs parallel to the coastline. This area is primarily residential and offers direct access to the beach. Properties here typically feature private balconies or patios overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, with many having direct boardwalks to the sand. It's a quiet area, superb for those looking to relax by the water.Couples looking for a romantic escape will find this area particularly appealing. The beachfront accommodation allows for private moments watching sunrises and sunsets over the Gulf, and the calm waters are ideal for swimming or kayaking together.Families will also appreciate the convenience of staying right on the beach.
When is the best time to go to Alligator Point?
The best time to visit Alligator Point is during the autumn and spring months, specifically from October to November and March to April. These periods offer the most pleasant weather conditions for enjoying the area.During autumn, the weather is typically mild and sunny, with cooler temperatures and lower humidity after the summer heat. This makes it ideal for outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking, and exploring the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. The Gulf waters are still warm enough for swimming, and the crowds are significantly smaller than in peak summer.Spring also brings comfortable temperatures and less humidity, superb for beach strolls and wildlife observation. Wildflowers begin to bloom, adding to the natural beauty of the area. It's a great time for couples looking for a peaceful getaway, as the weather is consistently good for enjoying the natural surroundings without the intensity of the summer sun. While summer (June to August) is popular for families due to school holidays, it can be very hot and humid, with a higher chance of afternoon thunderstorms.
